We have a full standard national operators licence, no OC0293035 which allows us to transport for hire and reward.

We are also licensed with D.E.F.R.A. to transport Equines our License no UK/PREST/T200002489 allows us to transport Horses for over 8 hours.

We have our wagons safety inspected every six weeks by a qualified mechanic.

Our current fleet is:
A 8 horse Scania with air suspension for a more comfortable ride and
Lower ramps for easier loading and unloading.
Side and rear ramps,
On board cctv
Sat Nav
Full partitions which can be moved for Mares with foals etc.

A 2 horse Renault Master [rear facing]
With 7feet 6ins internal height for even the largest horse
And ideal for those who don't want a shared load.

We have been transporting horses safely since 1992 All our drivers and grooms hold a competence certificate. Boothroyden are quality horse haulers and have been transporting horses safely for over ten years. We use quality modern wagons which are fully licensed and insured. Our aim is to provide a stress free horse transportation service in the knowledge your horse is safe and secure. All our drivers and grooms are knowledgeable and comfortable around any horses from racehorses to shires or stallions, mares and foals. All our horseboxes are fully equipped for all your horses needs. We also work for the main insurance companies who we can invoice direct, as well as most major breakdown companies. We transport anywhere in the UK with single horse or shared loads. Up to eight horses with overnight stabling if required. See our news page for information on shared loads coming up.
